The Centre for Tissue Engineering facilities were designed and built to facilitate the processing of human tissue under internationally approved and stringent fully regulated quality control processes. All recovered donor tissue is processed at the CTE using ISO compliant processes implemented in the certified clean-room laboratories at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), situated in Pretoria.
